Feeding Program for Indigenous Children in Mindoro

We continue to help address nutritional concerns in this small community as we conducted another simple feeding program.

Nurturing mind foundation conducts feeding program for group of Hanunuo Mangyan at NMF Caratao, Balatasan, Bulalacao Oriental Mindoro as one of its missions to aid disadvantaged community in the Philippines.  


Five (5) volunteers participated in preparing the meal and assisted with the feeding program. Finally, the NMF team crossed the sea using the borrowed boat to reach the Mangyan community. The journey was bumpy due to bad weather. The heavy carry item added to the hardship as the steep mountain was slippery.  


Despite the struggles, the program was successful. The Mangyan attendees said their goodbyes with big smiles and full stomachs. They were already anticipating the next feeding program.
